Corvette Funfest is a "customer appreciation party" hosted every year by Mid America Motorworks as a way of saying "Thank You!" to our Corvette customers. Corvette Funfest is held at Mid America Motorworks campus in Effingham, IL. It is one of the largest Corvette gatherings in the world. Over 15,000 Corvettes and over 45,000 Corvette enthusiasts participated in Corvette Funfest 2007. Plan on joining us for the 15th Annual Corvette Funfest 2008, September 19-21 when we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Corvette Challenge Race Series.

Mid America Motorworks Swapfest Spring Swapfest and Low Speed Autocross

Now open to all makes and models! All items offered for sale must be parts, accessories, or memorabilia for any automobile of any vintage. To keep the real swap meet feel, only used or NOS parts are allowed. Vendor space is $40 each for a 20 x 20 space. There is no charge to attend Swapfest, which traditionally starts at 8:00 a.m. CST at our company headquarters on North Route 45 in Effingham, IL. Each year, Mid America Motorworks hosts Spring and Fall Swapfests.

In conjunction with Swapfest, Mid America Motorworks hosts a low speed autocross competition. This is a classed competition open to all car makes and models. $15 per vehicle. The next Fall Swapfest & Autocross will be Oct. 11 2008.

Funfest for Air-Cooled VW's is a "customer appreciation party" hosted every year by Mid America Motorworks as a way of saying "thank you" to our Air-Cooled Volkswagen customers. Funfest for Air-Cooled VW's is held at Mid America Motorworks campus in Effingham, IL. It is one of the largest Air-Cooled VW gatherings in the country. More than 1,300 VW's and over 8,000 Air-Cooled Volkswagen enthusiasts, including a special Herbie display, participated in Funfest 2007. Don't miss the happenings on May 31-June 1, 2008 when we celebrate the Manx Dune Buggy and its creator Bruce Meyers.
